If you plan on bringing your RV, please complete the RV Reservation form to tell us when you're arriving, how long your RV is and get us contact information so we can reserve a spot for you.... then stay in touch so we can get you settled in a great spot with access to 24 hour clean bathrooms and hot showers.
The Grounds at Roton Point are a beautiful place to pitch a tent for a Regatta. There is nothing like the sound of the sea to put you to sleep each night! Bring an air mattress, warm sleeping bag, and a lawn chair... Check our fleet's main photo gallery for some pictures of tenting at Roton, and ask in the chat box any questions... Christopher has tented here for 15 years, so we'll give you the low down about how to make the most of your stay in a tent.
If you search Rowayton CT for the dates of the event and the size of your party, you should find any availabilities - If that fails, try Darien, CT or Norwalk, CT ... the link below should produce a search for up to 6 guests in an Air BnB in Rowayton...
Similar for VRBO ... here's a search of Rowayton for a 6 person VRBO
We reached out to 3 hotels within a 15 minute drive of the regatta site to get a discounted group rate. The Hilton Garden Inn gave us the best rates and so we are in the process of holding a block of 10 rooms which competitors will be able to book for themselves. Disclaimer: We are not affiliated with any Hotel's in the area, your housing reservation is your responsibility.
Quoted us $139-$169 depending on the day of the week, regularly $206. 15 min drive.
If you call, tell them you are with the group for Roton Point / Hobie Nationals... if they don't recognize that, please let us know so we can help you get the discount rate.
Quoted us $179/night, regularly $257. 13 min drive
Quoted us $220/night, regularly $269. 10 min drive
Currently we are working to get all of our volunteers, RC and Judges housed, and the generosity of the Roton Point Association membership to offer their "spare rooms" for this purpose has allowed us to keep the entry fee for the NAC the same as they were in 2012 (about $100 off the 2023 event rates). Once we have that squared away, and no sooner than April 30, we'll look to see how many more guests can be accommodated for the week and post here how to make those arrangements. It is not likely that we'll be able to handle many requests, so please do not count on this option.
